Happy Hens Farm is an Organic Egg Farm in Ramona, CA. We raise our beautiful organic hens outdoors in our fields. We are top rated for our humane practices with Cornucopia Institute as well as Whole Foods Market.

Our Farm has a on-farm store as well as a playground and some animals to pal around with. We also offer tours and other events on-site. We are half an hour from the beach and a half hour from the mountains, so many activities are just a short drive away such as swimming, surfing, fishing, biking, and hiking.

Whether you love to camp or prefer to sleep in luxury, we have the perfect farm experience for you.

Our beautifully appointed farm stay suite features a kitchen, king bed, soaking tub and a balcony with views of the farm.

Our campground is great for tent campers and RVs alike, you’ll have the opportunity to experience solitude and nature while also a quick walk from our fully-stocked farm store.

About the Dairy Sweet

Before Happy Hens farm took over this beautiful 10acre property there used to be a fully operational Dairy called Rancho Costa Plenty (no joke). Once home to over 400 cows, Now is a home to over 10,000 chickens.

We wanted to pay tribute to the building’s original purpose, Hence the Dairy Sweet. We do have a shared love for cows as well as Hens.

When staying at this Lovely sweet you might still see a milk cow or two roaming our fields along side the hens.

The Suite Includes but not limited to: A full Kitchen, King Size Bed, Full Bath with a Huge Soaker Tub, and a Balcony to enjoy some great views of our “Happy Hens” and fresh air.

Hens are still our favorite but cows are a close 2nd.

Camp on the Farm

About Our Camp Site

Our site has both power and water. Our camp site is easily accessible from the road with a gravel base. Right next to the site is our on farm store where we sell our farm fresh organic eggs and other local snacks and treats. Just a short walk about is our playground and petting zoo where you can play with our goats and watch our Happy Hens in action.
